Who can understand the workings of Heaven?
The Tao of the universe
does not compete, yet wins;
does not speak, yet responds;
does not command, yet is obeyed;
and does act, but is good at directing.
The nets of Heaven are wide,
but nothing escapes its grasp.
To think that we can out-wit, out-think, and out-survive Thermodynamics
gets you voted off the Island.
We, as society, can live in Thermodynamic Balance,
or ignore Entropy and Enthalpy.
We can choose to understand and participate.
Thermodynamic laws are unbending;
Gaia obeys the law.
She doesn’t care about anything else.
